  • Review and study purchase request delegated by the repair and service supervisor
  • Prior to inspection the technical estimator should prepare necessary materials, equipment, gate pass and etc. prior from the actual schedule of      inspection
  • Attend pre-bidding and site inspection with the intent of gathering necessary data needed for costing and creating a good impression with the            end-user
  • Create technical and commercially competent proposal
  • Conduct Electrical test, evaluation, repair and or modification as approved
  • Maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for industrial purposes.
  • Data gathering like number of turns, measurements of winding and core
  • Rewind small and medium-sized distribution motor and generators
  • Operate wire-coiling machines to wind wire coils used in motors, and in electrical equipment.
  • Select and load materials such as workpieces, objects, and machine parts into equipment used in winding processes.
  • Measure and cut slot insulation
  • Perform miscellaneous operations such as dismantle and clean parts.
  • Insertion of coils and connect as per as found data
  • Reviews scope of work prior to the implementation of project
  • Conducts on-site coordination with end-user and supervisor
  • Submits progress reports of  on-site service to the main office
  • Conducts site inspection to determine the scope of work and service that will be provided to the client
  • Prepares and checks tools and equipment to be used for servicing
  • Submits test reports on machineries forwarded by the technician
  • Analyses and/or Validates reports on machineries
  • Defines prospective clients and maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Attends site inspection, if applicable
  • Conducts set up and operation of test equipment for evaluation of performance, assembly, or system, under simulated operating conditions
  • Records results of the conducted equipment testing
  • Provides technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during and/or after construction
  • Repairs and replaces defective components in motors, generators, controllers, storage batteries, switchboards, conductors, switches and various electrical fixtures
  • Dismantles motors and generators
  • In-charge of all the service engineers, foreman and leadman.
  • Receive job order (J.O.) from Service Manager for works that are related to outside service products.
  • Communicate with the customer representative in charge of the service activity to obtain all necessary information that will be needed in the planning activities and also as an initial communication.
  • Confer with the production planner for the availability of manpower, tools, equipment, test instruments and transportation services

  • Fabricate and insert new slot wages
  • Apply insulating varnish to winding
  • Assist technician during initial and final electrical test
  • Assist technicians in no load test
  • Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
  • Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
  • Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
